The exchange is supported by Yorkshire Forward and One NorthEast and is available to any company wanting to buy or sell products, service or production capacity.

The Exchange for Manufacturing Resources was founded in 2001 by Chief Executive Officer Harry Brown who developed the concept after thirty years in industry.

The idea for the Exchange was developed to create an equilibrium between over and under capacity and boost the cash base of small to medium sized manufacturing companies.

The Exchange is supported by One North East, Yorkshire Forward, Business Link Tyne & Wear, South Tyneside Council and Community Loan Fund North East. Grants may be available for membership, please telephone for further information on how to apply for grant funding.
