Cell Pack Solutions - Positive Impact
Local award winning battery company - Cell Pack Solutions is seeing
positive results from their hard work in recent months with increased
orders and new products being introduced.
The company has recently employed the services of two university
undergraduates with the Inside Track placement scheme run by the
Design Council and STEP (Shell Technology Enterprise Programme).
They are applying their skills to take a critical look at the companies
product design, manufacturing and on-line marketing techniques.
Eddy said: " Graduates bring specialist up-to-date knowledge
and help us to acquire new skills. Their input over the project
has made a positive impact and we are adopting many of their recommendations.
We did this last year and we are pleased to say, the young graduate
who worked with us is now employed on a full time basis."
The South Shields based company specialises in manufacturing custom-made
batteries for industrial applications and also supplies the public
with batteries for just about anything. Eddy Czestochowski, founder
and managing directors said: "We have an excellent reputation
for finding the right battery. As well as our specialist industrial
web sites, we now run several dedicated e-commerce web sites selling
batteries for digital cameras, video cameras, cordless phones, and
general batteries for any application, the list is endless."

Because of the companies' expertise in custom manufacture and their
first-class reputation for customer service, large international
battery manufacturers such as Uniross and Sonnenschein have agreed
long term main distributor status for Cell Pack Solutions further
strengthening their market position.

Cell Pack Solutions have won several awards for their e-commerce
activities, the most recent was the winning place at the 2004 Local
North East e-commerce awards celebrated at the awards ceremony in
Newcastle in June this year.
Cell Pack Solutions continues to grow and in the next year will
be further developing their product range and marketing activities.
