UNIROSS NiMH Industrial Cell Packs
for Demanding Applications
The Uniross range of Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries are
ideally suited to demanding industrial applications where long serve
life and elevated operating temperatures are called for.
Cell Pack Solutions Ltd are now offering to custom manufacture cell
packs using the Uniross (NiMH). The batteries are in three ranges
covering Standard, Performance and Temperature and are available
in most common sizes. Cell Pack Solutions can make from the most
simple, single cell units, to the most complex, multi-cell packs
with shrink or moulded plastic cases, internal components, protection
circuits and integral connectors.
The units offer long service life with high energy discharge and
flat discharge performance. They incorporate reverse polarity protection
and have no memory effect and the Temperature range can operate
at between -20 to +70 degrees C.
These Uniross batteries offer good safety characteristics with
an inbuilt resealing safety vent. The benefit is that in the event
of pressure inside the battery rising as a result of improper use,
such as overcharge, short-circuit, or reverse charge, the reseal
safety vent will open to release the gas and decrease the internal
pressure, thus prevent the battery from exploding.
