Energy Conservation - Save Energy, Electricity,
Gas, Water and Minimise Waste
Due to concerns about increased carbon emissions, global warming
and energy costs, The Process Directory has added a new category
to the database covering Energy Conservation.
Companies needing or offering products and services are invited
to look at this category as way of marketing your company and also
benefiting from the advice provided by such companies.
The UK Government along with the Carbon Trust and other regional
organisations has launched a new awareness campaign to encourage
companies to look at how they can save energy, save the environment
and save profits at the same time.

On 23 January the Secretary of State and the Minister for Energy
launched the consultation document "Our Energy Challenge: securing
clean, affordable energy for the long term".
 The
consultation has a broad scope and considers all aspects of the
energy system including both energy supply and demand. It sets out
the energy challenges we are currently facing, and invites responses
to the evidence presented and to what should be done to secure clean,
affordable energy for the long term.
We are keen to stimulate a wide-ranging and informed debate on
energy policy issues both over the 12 week consultation period and
beyond.
