New 7.7" Windows CE.Net

Nematron Europe Ltd is proud to announce the
addition of the
7.7" STN unit in the new PowerView/CE Family of Windows CE.NET
based HMI touchscreen panels.
The PowerView/CE is currently available in two
different sizes:
· PV-606S 5.7" STN display with 320 x 240 resolution
· PV-608S 7.7" STN display with 640 x 480 resolution
The Nematron PowerView CE platform shares the
same physical dimensions and screen options as its successful ViewBuilder
based sister product. Beneath the 4096 color, crisp and bright 5.7"
and 7.7" LCD Touchscreens, lies the powerful Intel X-Scale
processor (200MHz Intel StrongARM 1110 processor for the 5.7"
units) accompanied by equally impressive computing resources for
the CE developer. Supporting up to 64MB DRAM, 32MB on-board Flash
Memory, 256MB Compact Flash Expansion, a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet Port
(10 Base-T only on 5.7"), 2 Serial Ports plus 16 bit Sound
Output the PowerView offers a solution for the most challenging
industrial and heavy duty commercial applications.
Based on Windows CE.NET (4.1 release), the PowerView/CE
offers a rich set of programming and communications tools not generally
available with proprietary HMIs. PowerView/CE can be programmed
using Nematron's new OpenView Machine Edition/CE HMI/SCADA software
(sold separately). In addition, PowerView/CE can be programmed by
third party software programs such as Visual Basic or Visual C++,
with the available software development kit.
Nematron's PowerView/CE Family is competitively placed with prices
starting at $495 USD for the 5.7" STN and $995 USD for the
7.7" STN. A 12" TFT unit will be due for release in March
2004.
