FoamLink coated tapes - 1103+

Available in thickness’ 0.5 mm to 5 mm. A broad based range, comprised of several thickness, density and adhesive class combinations. Utilised very widely in the building, glass and glazing, POS (point of sale), automotive and white goods industries. The closed cell nature of the foams we use, provide very good sealing, gap filling and gasketing qualities.
Applications include auto badges, security glazing, panel glazing, polycarb roofing systems, liquid resin lamination, point of sale, assembly pads, truck and bus assembly.

Closed cell foam provides good sealing and thermal conductivity figures.

High adhesive deposition ensures a good balance between high adhesion and cohesion.

FoamLINK 1103 H+ (available in white and black), is a double coated, medium/high density, closed cell PE foam.

It is ideally suited to bonding difficult and disimilar substrates and surfaces, including metals, ceramics, many plastics and even painted, lacquered or powder coated finishes.

The PE foam construction, provides excellent conformability and is therefore ideal for rough, uneven and structured surfaces. In addition the foam offers excellent sealing dampening and vibration absorbtion capabities, ensuring that bonded joints remain permantly secure, even in critical and exacting applications.

FoamLINK 1103 H+ has good initial tack, combined with its superior bonding characteristics, enabling easy assembly and positioning. This product is therefore ideal for all permanent fixing and mounting applications of component parts, even for outdoor use.

Temperature Resistance: from - 40°C to + 70°C (long term) 90°C+ (short term).
According to ISTM D3654.
Method: area of 6.25cm2 with 0.5kg load @700c for 10 000 minutes.
Result: No change.

FoamLink coated tapes - 1103+ Key Characteristics:

Very high sheer, high cohesive mass.

Good affinity to many plastics and low energy surfaces.

Great resistance to environmental factors, ideal for plastics and external applications.
